ProFlex 552 Rear Elastomer Refresh Kit

Our Proflex 552Rear Elastomer Refresh Kit will bring your suspension back to life. Please choose the number of elastomers on your shock* and ride firmness.

*Note:Most 1992-1994 ProFlex shocks use a single elastomer.

Ride Firmness:

Medium ride firmness was original firmness (yellow) on most Proflex and Girvin shocks for riders 185lbs and lighter. Firm ride is for riders 190lbs and heavier.

Shock Length:

To determine shock length, lift the bike from the seat post until the wheel is lifted off of the ground, measure the distance between the upper and lower elastomer retainer plates, be sure that the preload adjuster should be backed off.

** NEVER install springs in a shock designed for elastomers! Serious injury to the rider can occur!**
